Insurance Sales Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Career Position Overview:

Seeking a “proven natural salesperson” who has proven success and passion for selling Premature Death/Life Insurance & Critical Illness. This FT position will also include sales of Auto and Home Insurance to existing and new customers. Existing clients call to add or replace autos and homes. We also have many referrals. We don’t cold call. You will be trained and work in a supportive, fun, and successful team environment and successful sales process.  We offer an opportunity to develop, learn, grow, get to know and protect our clients. Total income $60,000.00 to $80,000.00/year including Base and excellent commission program.

• Pivot existing clients to personal insurance such as Life, Disability & Critical Illness by scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and call exixting clients.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals.

Requirements:

• Must be fully licensed with Alberta Life & Accident & Sickness Licenses and have proven success selling Life & Living Benefits
• Must be studying for Alberta Level 1 or able to do so within 4-6 weeks
• Must be detail oriented
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good credit with no outstanding collections
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
• Proactive in problem-solving
• Dedicated to customer service
• Ability to multi-task

Compensation: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00/year including Base and excellent commission program
